Non Electric Blending

This non-electric blender was started in February 2016 after a few years of R&D and a solid goal. The concept was born in the water a few years earlier when Dan Garr, the inventor, was looking for a better way to mix fruit, protein, and carb powders to hydrate while doing cross-continental ocean swims. “There is a large gap between the shaker bottle and the electric blender, and we need that product quickly!” he said while swimming from Spain to Africa across the Strait of Gibraltar … all while trying to eat a banana in the water.

Dan and his team from his toy inventing world, also known as (www.hotbutteredelves.com), drafted CAD and created the first version of the blender called Revablend. It worked well, but was sadly copied to a fault. Instead of going backwards, fate changed Dan’s direction when selling into Africa. They didn’t want to make smoothies, they wanted to prepare soup, and blend protein cakes and powders for their children. Dan changed the blade design to accommodate this, and the results were mind-bending. “This new blade design will make more of a difference in the world!” He said enthusiastically. “We don’t need batteries. This design has more than enough power!”

Dan is currently organizing shipments of Bevrev to Africa, and continues to support non-battery efforts to avoid filling landfills with un-necessary lithium-ion batteries that are a growing threat to our world.

One day while swimming to Africa, this spark started a revolution in Dan’s mind. Dan laughs a lot, but he is serious when he says, “If we put a little more muscle into making our food, we will see a difference in both our bodies, and our planet.”
